But just for our listeners' sake, Alex, tell us a little bit about your background.

I was born in Russia. I came to America in 89 in the middle of college. I finished

college and I went to graduate school. I have a PhD in mathematics. I've always had interest

in both like analysis side of it, the math and also the strategic gaming, academic competitions.

It was very national for me to be interested in financial markets as well.

So after I got my PhD from the University of Chicago, that was 97, I went into Wall Street.

And then I worked on Wall Street for a while, started at Bankers Trust, which became Deutsche Bank.

I started as a market maker on a fixed income derivatives desks and traded very wide range of fixed income instruments.

Then I went to Chase, basically my first senior job was a Chase in 2000, which became JPMorgan Chase after the merger.

And I was running basis swap book and then I launched the

agency asset swap franchise there. And then eventually they offered me to go on the proprietary

side and run macro portfolio. Then a global currencies and commodities group. And that's basically

the origin of my current strategy and my current reputation on Wall Street.

Then starting from 2007, I left on my own and doing various things on my own

launching hedge funds, trading my own money, and running my own fund.
