Oh, there is so much lying that goes on in the financial services industry.

I just can't get over it.

The other thing that bothers me is the incredible confusion between two different, very different ways of making money. Investing and gambling.

They're not the same, despite the fact that a lot of people want you to believe they are. They are not.

And it gets very frustrating. You know, particularly today when we've got two wacky speculations, pure speculations, both being treated

like investments, being discussed as if they're investments, and neither of

which is an investment.

I'm talking about Bitcoin and its ilk, all the cryptocurrencies, but I'm not going to talk

about them today.

And the other one that's soaring back up to new highs is gold gold gold may glitter

but it doesn't grow it doesn't it never has It is a dumbest investment. Gold itself, talking about the metal or the futures contracts, or anything that is betting on the price of the metal. Can you make money in the gold business? Well, yes. Mine it, smelt it, print it into coins, make it into jewelry.
