We are actually close to the birthday of Sri Ramakrishna. Day after tomorrow is the birthday of Sri Ramakrishna

by the Indian calendar. In the English calendar, it is 18th February in 1836. But because it's a lunar

calendar, it keeps changing if you see it from the perspective of the English calendar. So we are

already in March

now. It's three days after Shiveratry. That's a good way of reckoning it. So I thought today

we'll talk about Sri Ramakrishna and we'll talk about what is most essential to Sri Ramakrishna.

When you see Sri Ramakrishna, the life of Sri Ramakrishna, the story of Sri Ramakrishna, the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, and that

which has come down to us, the most essential thing. In his own words, he said, I swear it

on the name of the mother, for him God was mother.

I do not know anything but God.

In Bengali he said, I'm Mairi Bologi.
