Ken Paxton is making court filings to try to vacate those seats of the absentee Texas Democrats. They are still on the run.

They have not returned. The Texas legislature has taken steps to turn off the direct deposit

so they're not being paid while they're away. And they're also starting to incur those $500 a day

fines, which is one of the consequences for, I don't know, not showing up and not doing your job. So that is continuing to play out in Texas. If there are more updates or any more sound from Ken Paxton or governor Abbott, we will certainly bring them to you. And then another breaking story is that it seems like the IRS commissioner is out. Um, he was only recently confirmed. He was a congressman that didn't have much
