Hello everybody welcome back to another bald move prestige movie review this is a first run movie edition

we're talking about glass onion the follow up to 1999's Christmas time release, Knives Out, chronicling the adventures of the last gentleman sleuth, Benoit Blanc.

Boy, I got so much to say in a non-spoiled way about this movie.

But first off, I got to know Jim Jones, my co-host here.

What did you think of this movie? This movie is delightful. If you if you like knives out you will love this. I guarantee it. It's more of the same, it's just a twist on it and it's just as much fun as the first one.

If not more, if not more, this boy, I don't know if it's because I kind of know the vibe of this now and I know what to expect a little bit more and so I'm prepped and like kind of eager to get in there and see another or what, but I feel like I enjoyed this showing better than the original Knives Out.

So I remember really not liking Knives Out. I remember in my mind I remember you not liking it. Yeah now a lot of people a lot of people they live their life to get three four years memories get hazy they don't have the luxury of going back and being like, what did I actually

think and what I actually say. I do because I record all my thoughts about movies and film and

television into a microphone invariably.

I remember talking to you about knives out and having a discussion about why I don't like it

but I don't remember all of my concrete reasons and I can't believe we didn't

actually record a podcast that was a huge oversight If we both saw it enough to have a conversation,

we never talked about it, because I, my point is, last night I watched the original knives out,

because I'm like, you know what, I don't want know what I don't want to I just want to

buttress I want to buttress my idea of this movie going into the sequel and it was a

delight it was so much fun I laughed I had a great time with it, I had kind of hazy memories of where it was going, but I was kind of shocked at like the movie kind of solves itself and like 20, 30 minutes into into it and then it continues to kind of like

do this twist and turn and I think I might have probably had problems with some tonal shifts because

I never knew how serious to take the movie I now know not to take it very seriously at all because it doesn't.
