I have listened to focus on the family shows since I was probably a later teening all the way through my young adult years and beyond, I guess.

I just found that so often whatever message was being aired was really pertinent to something either I was experiencing or it was just of such interest that it was like I was able to accumulate knowledge and

spiritual wisdom.

Do you have a trusted, experienced advisor to kind of help you

walk through various things in life? Today we're going to explore some good advice and

encouragement to kind of help of a mentor would provide for how to live a well-balanced, healthy,

godly life. You know, John, I look back, I had two really good mentors that God brought into my life at just the right time.

My football coach in high school, Paul Morrow, who's passed away.

And then my first, what I would call my adult job, right?

The first big job you get that paycheck.

That was more in my early 20s when I went to work in the paper industry and that was Jeff Eves who taught me so much

about business and but also spiritual spiritual things and I'm grateful to both of those men
