This is the last message in our series The Key to Everything.

And this week the title of the message is Giving Everything.

Giving Everything.

I want you to look at Mark chapter 12 verse 41. Mark 12 verse 41 and

let's not just skim over these verses. Let's really look at them. Now Jesus

set opposite the Treasury and saw how the people put money into the Treasury.

The Treasury would be the offering box, just like we have offering boxes here in the building.

And many who were rich put in much.

Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites

which make a quadrons, a quadrant was the smallest denomination of coinage in the Roman money system.

So it was a penny. She gave a penny, All right? And the mites were the two smallest

and Jewish, which two of those made up one penny as a Roman coin. So she put in one penny. Verse 43, so he called his disciples to himself and said to them,

assuredly, I say to you, now this is Jesus speaking, this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the Treasury.

For they all put in out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty put in all that she had everything. Her whole livelihood.

She gave everything. Now I want to talk to you about really giving everything to God and I don't mean everything in your checking account or your savings account or something like that, I mean giving everything to God.

And there are times when God asks us to give

an incredible amount of money, but really what he's asking for is an incredible amount of

our hearts.
