But recently on the pod, we had a debate about whether the players should be giving up some of their wages for the club.

It was a spirited debate at times, and there were a lot of different perspectives.

And while that discussion had more to do with assets and labor and capital and all kinds

of theoretical, socialist, democratic capitalist kind of ideologies, the one thing that we all agreed on is that giving back right now is very important,

that doing things to support the community and support those in need right now is very important.

It is certainly an unprecedented period of need globally.

And close to home in the Arsenal community, there's certainly a lot of need.

And there is an organization called the Arsenal Foundation that does incredible work in the Arsenal community, there's certainly a lot of need. And there is an organization

called the Arsenal Foundation that does incredible work in the community and is a fantastic

charity that helps people who need it and in communities that are really connected to the club.

So in following up with the comment we made on the pod that everyone who can, everyone who is

able should try to

give back at this time. We want to do that. So we have started a fundraising campaign, a just-giving

fundraising campaign for the Arsenal Foundation. Our goal is to raise 10,000 pounds. And to do that,

we are going to match every pound you give up to 5,000 of our own pounds to try to get

the ball rolling.
