The transcript of the interview between Biden classified documents special counsel Robert Herr and Biden himself was released yesterday, mere hours before her was set to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee.

The transcript paints a picture consistent with the special counsel's report from last month that Biden is a memory-challenged well-meaning old man who likely wouldn't be fit to stand trial and painted a picture

very inconsistent with Biden's angry press conference after the special counsel's report dropped,

like when he took umbrage with the notion he couldn't remember when his son Bo died.

The transcript actually shows that Biden was trying to figure out

during that interview whether Bo died in 2017 or 2018 when he in fact passed away in 2015.

On multiple occasions, the elder Biden forgot what a fax machine is called. And on another occasion

during that interview, Biden expressed a keen interest in telling special counsel her about his

corvette, how he likes to rev the engine, and subsequently made car sounds and started laughing.

Not making that up, that's in the transcript of that special counsel's interview.

Her, as I said, testified in front of the House Judiciary Committee yesterday and rebuked Democrat

Schafing that he didn't sanitize his report and made it less politically

difficult for them.

My task was to determine whether the president retained or disclosed national defense

information willfully.

That means knowingly and with the intent to do something the law forbids.

I could not make that determination without assessing the president's state of mind.

For that reason, I had to consider the president's memory, an overall mental state,

and how a jury likely would perceive his memory and mental state in a criminal trial.
