later on the show, Dan, we're going to be talking about Lent since it is the Lenten season.

Welcome, y'all. I hope everybody went and gave up some stuff. Yeah, and that's what we're going

to be talking about, mainly, is like the idea of giving stuff up, and why that resonates to humans,

right? Yeah, even on a larger scale than just Lent, we're going to get to some stuff that me,

that you may be doing, listener, and we might just make fun of you for it. I don't know. We'll

have to see what happens. Yeah, indeed. But first, we have some stories from the week.

Things going on in the world that we should probably talk about. I want to start with this one from

Texas, Dan, where a lawmaker, a legislator, has authored a bill that would restrict drag

performances, and quite severely, basically saying that drag would have to be limited to

businesses that are sexually oriented, right? Because it is such as always a such as sexual

performance. At its worst, it's suggestive, right? And most of the time, it's just people lip-syncing.

In clothing, the conservatives don't think they should be wearing. Yeah, it is all about drag,

like the whole point of drag is that they are in clothes. How sexual is that?

It falls apart if they're naked. So anyway, somebody found something interesting

from his past. You're about to shock me. I know for a fact I am about to be just

complaining on the floor down, I guarantee it. Nate Shatsline, that's his name. He, of course,

he's a Republican lawmaker, Texas again. Somebody posted on Twitter, I want to say, a video

from his college days, a 90 second video, skipping running and dancing in a park while wearing a

black sequin dress and sort of a red eye mask. It's how they, it's what they call it.

And we know it's him because at the end of the video, the characters are credited.
