Today's tip is to give a friend a podcast.

Any podcast that you enjoy makes a free and easy gift for a friend who would enjoy the show too.

Of course we all share recommendations of things we like with friends, family, and

colleagues and that includes podcasts. But actually thinking of giving podcasts as gifts

and as gifts you'd like to start giving has a few upsides.

First, you start listening to podcasts more mindful, because you're actively thinking about

who else might enjoy them. And when you give someone a podcast, that increases the chances that you'll have a discussion with the

person about the podcast. It's a great way to connect. Indeed, I'd argue that

connecting with somebody about an idea is a better gift in many ways than a tie or a sweater or

other such things that people tend to give us presents and which gets stuffed in the closet.

Plus, it's cheaper too.
