like wins unfortunately, a forecast all this Sunday.

The word of warning though, the geno d'Italia rolls into town today, so do be prepared

for localised disruption and road closures, especially around the SS16 Adriatica and the

Lungomatic Cristoforo Colombo, on the plus side though, there are no coronations planned

for today.

Okay, stage two, to add more to San Salvo, just to find it in the Garibaldi, which is

the road, beautifully produced, always every year.

You'll go 202 kilometres today, so it's going to be a sprint isn't it?

I am just going to spend an hour or so just marking a few things out both in terms of what

might happen in the race, and who might feature at the end, but also in terms of the

points of interest that we might see along the way, starting off at Teremo, where apparently

in 2011, in the yellow of HTC Columbia Mark Cavendish took a victory, he's actually starting

today's stage from Teremo, which has an old Roman amphitheatre, very ancient, antique

city originally in Teremo, and then it heads towards the coast predominantly over a couple

of climbs that it dips in land for, just cat-fall climbs, heading south all the while to

the very southern border of Abruzzo, which is if you like the central region on the Adriatic

coast.

The next region down is the little region of Molliser, I think it's the smallest region

in all of Italy, and then beneath that is the extensive coastline of Poulier.
