So who first introduced you to mountain biking?

Well, that was pretty much me.

It was something I always wanted to do.

At the time, I was actually going through a very long, ugly divorce.

And so I thought it was a really great time to get all my anger out on the rock.

So I went out to Wheelworld in Woodland Hills

and purchased a rock hopper hardtail with the old 26-inch wheels and V-breaks and for $450.
