Can you believe it? I feel like this year went so fast. But I don't want you to worry at all because

we will be back for another season of Girls Night's in January. But since the holidays are coming up

and since this is our last episode for the year, I knew we had to do something special for it.

We have a very special guest for today's episode and it's Carl's mom. My mother-in-law,

the one and only Kathy Wilson. Now here's what you need to know about Kathy before we dive in.

She basically invented Pinterest. Okay, that's not exactly true, not specifically anyway. But if you've

ever been to her house, you really feel like she did. She has this unbelievable gift for hosting people.

For creating a comfortable, inspiring, nurturing home, that I seriously have to drag myself away from

after staying with her for a few days. I'm serious. Especially after holidays after we've been there

for a few days, it's all I can do to not beg her to let me live in her basement. Her house is just

so much cozier than mine. Well, anyway, in today's episode, she's going to be sharing with us all

of her secrets. She's going to be teaching us how to make our house feel like a home with a nurturing,

inviting ambiance, how to decorate our homes without breaking our budgets. Yes to that, how to make

our homes feel warm and inviting for guests, actually doable tricks to being a really great hostess,
