Well, let's crack on with today's first story, which comes from Lo Shaz who says,

Girlfriend 25 female came home last night to me, 34 male, drunk, lying.

Can't me make sense of this?

A bit of background.

My girlfriend and I have been together two years.

She had a drinking problem when I met her and got better.

We still party sometimes, but it's not nearly as destructive as when we did

it before. She's finishing her masters right now and I have a very demanding job at a law firm.

So our evenings are usually spent with her studying until 11 p.m. while I wind down by playing

video games or watching TV. Our weekends she's busy with homework also so we don't do much. I try to fit in

some fun any time I can because I understand she needs to unwind more than I do. I'm divorced and

have a son and cheated on and have cheated once. She's been in and out of bad relationships

and has cheated before when she got real drunk and hurt.

So, what happened? Yesterday, I had a bad day and was missing her and just needed her companionship.

We have all those days. I stay home from work, cleaned our place spotless, had a dinner and

a movie planned, wrote a cute message in chalk to her in Korean. She loves it when

I do anything that reminds her of Korea since she spent her undergrad there. So she calls me about

the time she is supposed to be coming home and asks if she can go out and have a few margaritas

with a couple of friends. I say, sure, why would I mind, have fun baby? And she's done this before and always comes home after a drink or two.
