This is an episode that started out being about the wage gap.

But of course, it's never that simple here at Bad with Money.

The first guest I booked was Koea Beck.

Koea is a journalist who wrote a book called White Feminism from the suffragettes to influencers

and who they leave behind.

Great title.

Then my plan was to have another guest.

A guest who might speak to bridging the gap and getting women closer to men in terms

of salary.

And then, after I spoke to Koea, I felt that would be doing this interview at the service.

I wanted to do this episode as a palette cleanser from the usual girl boss narrative of women

and money media.

I have those people on this show just as much as I think I have people who combat it.
