Hey home girls, welcome to another episode of the Gorgeous Hill podcast. In today's episode,

this is a rewind episode, but let me just tell you a little bit about this episode. So this

episode is talking about all things letting God carry us through whatever situation it is that we

are dealing with. And in this episode, I kind of allude to how the season I was in at this point when I recorded this episode,

I was building my faith.

And I'm still building my faith to this day.

But in this particular episode, I was in a season of building my faith.

But as we know, the Bible says faith without works is dead.

But in that season, God was requiring me to be still.

Not because he didn't want me to put actions where my faith was. Not because he didn't want me to do anything.

Not because he didn't want me to exercise my faith, but because I had already done so much that in that season at that time, God was saying, okay, now it's time for you

to be still and let me do it. And so I just want to encourage you. I know we are starting this

faith series and we're working and gearing towards our faith series. And so I'm trying to bring

you things from a different perspective and all things about faith just so we can really get

ready to dive into this faith series. But as you listen to this episode, I really want you to

understand that there are some seasons in your life where God will require you to be still.

But that doesn't mean that you still don't have faith. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't

still have faith. It just means that you have to follow whatever it is that God is telling you to do.

Because sometimes we can do so much work. We can work and work and work and God sees our efforts.

God see the skin that we put in the game. God see the steps that we are

taking forward. And God is like, okay, you have done so much. You have shown me. You have proved to me that

you are going to work to get this blessing that you are going to put in everything that you need to put in
