It's the Jeff McNeil and the Pete Alonzo situation.

And I've loved Pete, but this was so bad that something needs to be shaken up in a big way.

You don't have to bring him back.

Jeff McNeil shouldn't have been on this team last year. The things that you can do easily to shake up the core,

you have to, as unpopular as it might be, that Pete Alonzo, one of the best homegrown position

players in franchise history, doesn't finish his career here. You just went through

the most embarrassing situation you could possibly go through. And I'm not trading Francisco Lindor.

You're obviously not getting rid of Juan Soto. So where do you shake this thing up? And those are two

places that you do. It's always got to be left field, first base. You got to figure out what you're doing

at second base. And you got to feel out what you're doing at second base.

And you've got to feel like, what is Viantos going to be here?

I think he's going to be here. And Beat Beatty, what about Brett Beatty? What are you going to do with him? I guess he could play second base, I guess. Is Luis Acuna Jr. a future player? You know, what about Maricio?

Is he a future player?

I mean, there's a lot of young players that you'd like to see up here,
