Now, we always reference this Bill Parcells to the Jets thing and try to make the comparison with Aaron Glenn because he's being advised by Bill Parcells.

And yes, having someone with credibility to come in and do this job is what we were asking for.

But do you think we always say the game has changed so much, the athlete has changed so much.

I mean, from when you played to when these guys are playing now and the contracts

and the practice facilities and all of these things. But yet, the Jets are trying to recreate

something that happened 30 years ago the same way. Isn't that kind of a false way to go about

things or a flawed way rather to go about things? You can't build a team in 2025 the way you built a team in 1997.

It's just not possible because the game is played differently.

The athletes are built differently.

They're paid differently.

I mean, it's unrecognizable the football from then to now. Yeah, and I would say yes to a point, but I would also say that Dan Campbell and Sean

Peyton are doing it, and they're from the same tree, if you will, the same way of doing things.

And again, Aaron's experience in professional football has a lot to do with the Bill Parcell's

way of doing things. And it may not be the way that you treat your players. I'm sure he's

pretty tough on his players. But it's also the way that you organize things, the way that you put

things together, the way you run practices, the way you run meetings, the way you travel, all the things that the coach is responsible for.

He's learned from three guys that have done it and have been very successful at doing it.

So, you know, those are the things that he's leaning on and those are the things that he's falling back on.

And that's why he wanted to remind people yesterday that he has spoken to Bill Parcells. You know, I mean, because that's a good thing. That's a good thing to have that in your back pocket. And I will say managing the game on Sunday, it's a little bit different. He came back. He kind of said that he wished he would have done it a different way.
