**spoiler chat for Seven Days In June starts around 33:45 and ends around 49:50, I also mention within the episode before we start!
In this episode of Gilmore To Read, I am joined by the wonderful Tia Williams, the author of Reading Is Sexy's April pick Seven Days In June. Tia is a massive fan of Gilmore Girls, a pop culture junkie, and lets us know which scene from the show she thinks is one of the best scenes in television! She got inspiration for Seven Days In June from Baz Luhrmann's Romeo & Juliet, her fascination with old Hollywood and toxic mothers, and her own experience with chronic pain. I loved getting to know more about the woman behind the book and hope you do too!
We'll be back later this month to talk Gilmore To Read's May picks.
If you want to join our book clubs, find us on Fable! For the month of June, Where You Read, I Will Follow is reading Yellowface by RF Kuang and Reading Is Sexy is reading Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt.
