here, and I'm so glad you're here today. My besties, I am positively obsessed with today's guest.

She is so funny, so thoughtful, so smart, has such fantastic insight into Gilmore Girls and

books in general. And that is my friend, the New York Times bestselling author, Sasha Peyton

Smith, who I invited onto the podcast because I wanted to talk with her about love triangles, love them or hate them.

We've all read them or watched them.

All of you have definitely watched one if you saw season two and three of Gilmore Girls, which I know that you have.

Sasha certainly loves a love triangle as we saw in her book The Rose Bargain, which was one of my favorite books last year.

It's really the perfect book

if anyone who is interested in fantasy is curious about historical romance because it really

toes that line quite well. But it's also a great book if you really love contemporary romance and

you're kind of curious about a historical. Because her writing style, as well as the banter that she

includes, feels quite modern and funny and warm.

I just think that if you have similar book taste to me, you're really going to love this one.

And it's quite good timing for you if you're just now discovering this book because the sequel to this duology came out yesterday as of this episode being aired today.

That book is The Thorn Queen, where we finally, after a year of

agonizing, just waiting in deep anticipation over the fates of our favorite characters, can finally

know peace. So if you loved the Rose Bargain, it is our time, it is time to lock in. But if you've

never read this book, it is absolutely the perfect time to dive in because the story has been completed, and we do finally know peace.
