before at TFD. And you guys, if you are true historians of the channel, have already seen on our channel in the form of her writing. As some of you may remember, we had a takeover by former YouTuber, creator, writer, author, Lindsay Ellis, a four week series all about the representation of money and pop culture. It's one of my all-time favorite things that we've done on the channel.

I think each episode is just so good, so striking.

And actually one of her primary writers on that series

was my guest today, who now has her own channel,

which is just about to hit 200,000.

You've really been someone who's been sort of in our ether for a very long time. And I did tee it up a little bit, but could

you tell our audience for those who may not be familiar with your work, kind of what you do and

what your work focuses on? So I primarily now focus on dealing with pop culture analysis at the

intersection of race, sexuality, gender, all the fun light stuff, and really just trying to sort of bring my own

literary theory background and analysis to those works, whether it be like one of my more recent

ones was, why are there so many Confederate vampires?

I know.
