0:12.2	I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.
0:19.0	We haven't heard much recently in regards to the Gilgo Beach case.
0:25.1	Of course, Rex Hulman is sitting in the Suffolk County Jail right now, awaiting trial.
0:31.9	Who knows exactly when that's going to occur. But we've heard some from extraneous information in regards to his wife. That's who's in the
0:44.1	thumbnail right there, Asa Ellorup. And here she is in that picture right there. Through this case,
0:50.5	we had seen the wife here she is in front of the house with her children.
0:56.3	And, you know, besides the fact that this case is a horrific crime, it's been a soap opera in so many other ways, in the ways that, you know, attorneys, lawyers figure out ways, and that's her attorney to the right in this
1:13.3	thumbnail that's on the screen right now, Robert Macedonio. And we know that Asa Ellorup has gotten a
1:22.7	seven-figure contract to do a documentary on the Gilgo Beach case.
1:27.9	So if this wasn't real life, I don't think you'd be able to make something like that up.
1:33.5	Because it's sort of what the most important thing about this case, of course, is right there.
1:39.8	Maureen Bairns, Melissa Bartolomey, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costell, who were known as the Gilgo Four.
1:49.4	And there were also seven more victims that we don't know for sure if they were, can be tied to Rex Sch, but the investigation is by no means over.
2:06.5	And with all this extraneous other information that's coming up, not necessarily by the police investigators,
2:17.0	but by attorneys, attorneys such as Robert Macedonia,
2:22.5	who is representing Asa Elr. Vesmetev, who is representing the children of Rekshuim and
2:30.3	Asa Elrup. They also need an attorney. Everyone needs an attorney these days, you know.
2:35.2	Everyone is so, so famous that they have to have their own attorney.
2:41.0	So, you know, this case really sort of took off after being dormant for so long when Rodney Harrison started a task force with Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.
2:59.9	And that was started on February 15, 2022.
