You know, folks, as we follow the Gilgo Beach investigation, it was interesting that yesterday,

Long Island Newsday, the premier newspaper out on Long Island,

released an interview of district attorney Ray Tierney and police commissioner Rodney Harrison on the first day.

And we sort of last night's show, which really wasn't about that,

we were trying to cover the effect that this case had on the family of Rex Ewerman, on the people

in Massapequa Park, Long Island, on Long Islanders in general, and on the people who reside in that area.

So we weren't ready really actually, well, we weren't ready to cover that whole case,

but some interesting little tidbits came out of those interviews.

And what we learned, again, and we're going to go over, not so much in depth,

because I think a lot of the things that both Ray Tierney has said and Rodney Harrison

has said have been in other interviews on other TV stations, in little pieces.

But this was a big interview of both of them,

at least 25 minutes to a half hour each.

So they did reiterate a lot of the investigative steps they took,

why they took certain steps, where they are in the investigation,

and the fact that they really do believe that Rex Eurman is the right guy.

And they list numerous evidence that they have in regards to that.
