Hey everybody, you're out now here, and today we're going to be talking about a couple

of different facets of Tesla's manufacturing plans, and we also have some rumors on

the US federal EV tax credit, news on supercharging, Tesla energy, and a couple other stories

as well.

All things considered relatively quiet day in the markets today, the NASDAQ finishing

down less than a tenth of a percent, Tesla finishing up less than a tenth of a percent,

to $691.62, on one of the lowest volume trading days for Tesla in the last month and

a half.

Alright, we're going to start off here with Tesla's production plans, specifically talking

about casting.

This is something that was brought up on the live stream on Friday last week.

Because last week, Eager Group, the company that makes the gigapress for Tesla, released

a couple of videos, maybe 45 minutes in total sharing some more details on the gigapress.

I will put a link to those down in the show notes if you want to watch those full videos

definitely pretty interesting, but the key point here was Eager disclosing the order numbers

for gigapresses that they've received so far.

Now we don't know for sure that these are all from Tesla, but it does seem very likely.

We don't at least I don't know if anyone else is using the gigapress casting technology

yet, so my best guess is this is all Tesla.

Eager says that so far they've shipped and installed two gigapresses, but most importantly,

that they have orders for nine gigapresses to be delivered in 2021.
