Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation. I am blessed to be at the lake house of David and

Joyce Diddy and about 35 of their closest friends. So what a beautiful thing to do and this is what this is what

everyone should be doing we need a movement of families and friends who gather

for good conversation and then pray the Rosary together.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

We are in the third day of our nine days of prayer building up to the feast of

Pentecost. Today we reflect on the gift of the Holy Spirit known as knowledge and the third

be attitude. Blessed are they who mourn. The gift of knowledge that comes from the

Holy Spirit enables us to judge the things of this world in comparison with God.

What are all the things in comparison to him?

Almost nothing.

They exist and they are good because they come from him

that nothing compares to God. Is there anything you would choose over God so that you

tried to have that thing rather than God forever? Is there anything that you would prefer to God forever? What would that

choice get to? In the end, it gets us nothing because all things end except for God.

Catechism in paragraph 226 says it this way.

It means making good use of created things. Faith in God, the only

one, leads us to use everything that is not God only insofar as it brings us closer to him,

and to detach ourselves from it insofar as it turns us away from him.

Our father who aren't in heaven, hallow it would be your name.
