0:43.0	Angela, why don't we start with just a little bit about what the International Feminist
0:49.6	Network for the Gift Economy is. Yeah.
0:53.0	This network brings together feminists from many, many, many different types of activities and regions of the world
1:02.0	who are interested in deeply transformative change and it
1:08.1	includes goddess involve feminists, those who are concerned with economic transformation,
1:15.0	matriarchal studies, archaeologists, anthropologists,
1:18.0	just a whole diverse range of feminists who know that all those things, including the environment of course are connected and we need to change them all together and we need to understand.
1:30.0	So even though we have our different focuses of our activity and our thinking,
1:35.0	we find that it's all enriched and deepened.
1:38.0	And we all also find that the
1:45.0	job, the Genevieveans theorizing of the gift economy has been extremely important in the work we're doing.
1:47.0	So that's, this is called For the Gift Economy.
1:51.0	And it's really a way of keeping in touch, developing our thinking, keeping
1:59.2	informed and spreading the kinds of understandings that we found so important.
2:05.0	So is it a network that meets regularly? Is it an online network?
2:10.0	What's the kind of the format of it?
2:12.0	Well, we have a list serve and anyone's welcome to join.
2:14.9	And we also do, there are periodical gatherings, conferences, and very often those among us will speak.
