Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast, part of the BetRivers Network.

We come to you as we put the finishing touches on week 18, and that means, thankfully, no more jet and giant games, although the giant game ended in pleasant fashion today. And I thought, as I said to you last week, that it was important that they get a win with this quarterback. I think beating the Cowboys are positive because they haven't in so long. I think winning at home, I just think all the things as they move forward

and hopefully land the good coach

and start to rebuild behind these young players

and this talented young quarterback.

And they do have that.

I want to turn my attention now to the Jets

because I just finished watching

uh not much of that game i i particularly uh couldn't watch it you know you shouldn't have to watch

that's not football um i watched the lions and the uh bears which actually you know turned out to be

a pretty interesting game at the end.

Even though these games, as I've told you many times, when you're talking about seating, if you're talking about getting into the playoffs, these teams play all out.

If you're talking about seating, do not pay attention.

They don't wind up winning a lot of times.

They don't play people.

They don't wind up winning a lot of the times.

So it doesn't play into it as much as you think it might.

Not like it automatically does if you're trying to get into the postseason.

As a matter of fact, I thought the Saints and the Falcons, they played hard, playing for two other teams were played hard and played and tried very

hard right to the bitter end. Let me get to this, though, because if I'm a Jet fan, which thankfully

I'm not, but if I'm a jet fan, I am so incensed by what this organization, year after year, tries to sell me.
