Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the podcast.

We are fully into spring training here.

We have games going on.

We have players competing for jobs. But that starts a little bit

before the games actually start. And one thing that stood out from the first few days in Scottsdale

was two guys, Aramis Garcia and Tyler Beattie, two young guys who are really trying to break through.

And for Garcia, trying to beat out some veterans for that backup job behind Buster Posey. And I think for Bidi,

just trying to remind the staff that, look, he's really talented. He is still here. He is still young.

He's 25 years old. He is younger right now than Derek Rodriguez was last year. So it is not too late

for him to break out. It's definitely not too late for him to become a good big leaguer and

become a contributing member

of this rotation going forward. I wanted to talk to Tyler about some of that and what he did last

year. It was a rough year for him, a rough debut in the big leagues, finished the year out in the

bullpen in Sacramento and just nothing really went right for him. But I think he used that as a learning
