Welcome back. It's the big blue banter New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier.

0:06.0

Join as always my closest with a lot. And today we are talking top 30 private visits for the

0:10.5

giants. Why do these matter? Well, the Giants have selected 10 players in the last three draft classes

0:15.1

from the top 30 visits. Those players that they've selected are Evan Neal, Kvon, Kvon,

0:20.8

Cordell Flott in 2022,

0:22.4

Deontay Banks, JMS, Jalen Hyatt, and Trey Hawkins, all top 30 visits in 2023. And then last year,

0:29.1

neighbors, Drew Phillips, and Theo Johnson, all top 30 visits. Now, of these top 30 visits,

0:34.9

one in each class has come in that first pick. So that's something that we know will happen. But as we look through this, we're going to profile these players, talk about our thoughts on these players, where we might consider them, where the Giants might be considering them as well, Nick. We're going to break this down offense and defense. Today's pot is just going to feature the offensive players who have been brought in for a top 30 visit. So let's start with the quarterbacks. Let's start with Shador Sanders, who was brought in for a top 30. The Giants have spent millions of hours on him. They have a private workout coming up for him. They were at his pro day with 70,000 people. Basically, every resource they can have put into Shador Sanders they have.

So is, I guess let's talk about them players wise.

1:15.1

Maybe just, I know we did a profile on him, but just some of your thoughts on him as we

1:18.2

had into draft day and your thoughts on selecting him at three overall, your thoughts on

1:21.8

trading back into round one for him, things of that nature.

1:25.3

Yeah.

1:26.0

I want to say we've covered a lot of this, all those questions. I don't necessarily want the Giants to trade back into round one because I don't really believe in Shador Sanders as someone who could be a top 15 consistent quarterback in the national football league. That doesn't mean I don't think he can start. I do think he could be a starting quarterback, a starting quarterback who can keep an offense in rhythm, a starting quarterback that Brian Dable can work with, a starting quarterback who

1:48.5

has some limitations when it comes to his physical traits, when it comes to his ability to

1:53.2

be pinpoint accurate down the football field and really deliver throws where he's throwing

1:58.4

guys open down the football field, all those out. And then there's the whole whole he's deion sanders kid but he plays like does not play like it just to be fair like he's not an overly athletic player i think he's going to struggle escaping the rush if he's going to maximize his his potential which he does have he has to play within the pocket he He has to play within the pocket. He has to

2:18.9

win from within the pocket. And he has to realize that he's not going to be able to outrun

2:22.4

NFL players because he could hardly outrun Big 12 defenders. And that's a problem that I have

2:27.8

with Shradora Sanders. And I don't think he's worth a, the E third overall pick in the draft

2:33.6

when you are going to be passing up on either a Travis

2:36.1

Hunter or an Abdul Carter. That's where I'm at with Shador Sanders. Again, I could see a path
