Is it too early to say that Daniel Jones had more talent and was better than the Giants ever were able to get out of him?

Now, I am not prepared to say that because he had a lot of injuries as well.

Like, we have to remember that.

That it was a lot of injuries and he's an injury prone guy and he may get hurt here in Indianapolis as well.

So if he gets through an

entire season healthy and has a Sam Darnold-like season that he had last year with the

Minnesota Vikings, then yeah, maybe I could say it. But there is no doubt that the environment

in which he is in now with everything that he's gone through is just perfect for him.

But I just, I'm a firm believer that some guys it's not going to happen in those places for them.

You know, in New York, a lot of times it doesn't.

So Daniel Jones at this stage of his career, having gone through the ringer, ended up in Indianapolis,

in a dome with an offensive head coach. Yeah, it's pretty good. Sam Darnold having gone through

the ringer, being older, having spent time behind Kyle Shanahan, going into a Kevin O'Connell

offense with Justin Jefferson there. Yeah, you could succeed there and not succeed with Todd Bowles being your head coach in New York,

where the Jets fans are completely nuts.

So sometimes it happens for guys in places that it would never happen in their previous location.

So you had three guys that had success here as as head coaches that I would

consider supreme success. One was Tom Coughlin, obviously, with two Super Bowls. The other one was

Bill Parcells. And then, of course, Rex Ryan, Bill did it with both teams. But those guys were all

A-type alpha male personalities.

And, you know, Rex didn't have any, you know, any experience as a head coach when he came in here.

But, man, he was rambunctious is what he was.
