Welcome back. It's the big blue banter New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier.

Joined as always my co. Nick Falado. Let me ask you a question, Nick. Do you think that any of the 31 other teams in the NFL scored more points this preseason than the New York football Giants?

Absolutely not. And who would have predicted that?

The Giants dropped 42 in the New England Patriots in preseason.

In this preseason finale, the third preseason game, and they went north of 30 in each of the prior preseason games, Dan.

And people would be like, oh, it's preseason.

It's like, yeah, no shit.

But guess what?

We didn't get this before. This is an exciting atmosphere that is being cultivated, one that shows that the offense is at least operating as a unit against an opposing team on three separate occasions. It's obviously a reason to be excited. It doesn't mean theants are going to be this offensive juggernaut when

the regular season rolls around, but there's no way to look at this and think negatively,

which has been the modus operandi of Giants fans over the last decade because we've sucked so

bad. It does feel like there's a turn in the energy, not just with the team. You can see them

celebrating even these preseason touchdowns. Second, third string, it doesn't matter. Neighbors is over there celebrating. Dexter Lawrence is over there celebrating. Two the most important players on the team that are obviously first stringers and weren't playing in this game. But you hear it with Kirk Herb Street and how he talks about what he sees in this team, meeting with them this week, talking with them and just the feel overall for the team, Nick. And I think with us as a fan base, dude, and you could just see it from our downloads if you want to get to like the nitty gritty of it, but you could see from everyone. I mean, I talk to people about the Giants all the time in my life, Nick, passing people that I work with or that I'm friends with. And there's a lot more excitement. They're a lot more interested in this team and what's going to happen. And obviously, we have to see it all play out in the regular season, but it's a good start. Let's just put it that way. And it's a good start for Dart, no rhyme intended and I will be probably having some weird slipups tonight, Nick.

I've never done a day with four shows that a 10 a.m. podcast on FFT, which was basically just all my guys. So it was like I had to lead the show. Then I did a show. I want to call you out on this one. And I didn't mean to cut you off because this is important. but I want to say you've done four shows at a day.
