Friday edition of PFT Live heading into Memorial Day weekend when I check the weather.

It's going to rain.

And, you know, the thing about the daily forecast, it gives you the percentage chance of rain.

That doesn't tell you anything because all it means is there's a 40% chance that at some point during the day,

it's going to rain a little bit. You got to pull up the hour by hour chart. When you see that,

that can either be encouraging or very depressing. And for Saturday, Sunday and Monday,

kind of concerned, it's going to be a washout, rainy three-day weekend, which

frankly just gives me the excuse to do nothing at all. I could use a few days of nothing at all,

although I'll still find something to do. I've already given the staff the three days off.

So I'll be minding the store at PFT this weekend hopefully it'll be a slow weekend and you know

it won't be a slow weekend right yeah you know something something will pop up always does and you'll

say okay there it is this is uh this is football news for a rainy day i was going to watch another movie but

here we go this news is happening i mean look at this we didn't see this coming no matthew

stafford we just talked about him i don't know where here's matthew stafford uh getting a one-year

extension and an additional you know depending on what number you believe, an additional

$15 to $20 million.

So I think something, something is going to happen on your rainy Memorial Day weekend, Mike.

Although I hope it doesn't, but it likely will.

It's good for business, so I'm not complaining.

And if I'm sitting around anyway, that's the thing.

People are like, when are you going to retire?
