Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Giants Insider podcast.

Today's guest is Sean Estes, longtime giant starter, long-time big leaguer.

He now does the pregame show, post-game show for us, and also does some games alongside

Dwayne Kuyper.

So he talked to Kelly Johnson and I, and we wanted to ask him a lot about what it's going

to be like for pitchers

and what this break is like for those guys and what returning will be like, what kind of injury risks there are.

I also wanted to talk to Sean about Arizona in general because he does live down there in the Phoenix, Scottsdale area.

And one thing I've heard from some Giants people is that, you know, they're a little bit concerned about Arizona just because it was a little bit behind, especially if you live in the Bay Area.

I mean, we shut down pretty early, but Arizona was a little bit behind.

They now are getting on board a lot more with social distancing.

And I think they've started to close a lot more businesses and you know shut down

like the rest of the country but they were a couple weeks behind some places and that could be a

concern going forward I think we're seeing what's happening in Florida right now if the same thing

happens in Arizona at some point you know those are two spots that are the two spots where teams

would send their

players if they wanted to restart and it potentially could play some games there too if you wanted

to play without fans at your spring training facility. I think that would be the easiest way

for Major League Baseball at some point. So definitely worth keeping an eye on Arizona and seeing what's
