I say we transition a little bit to the defense.

We spent 50 minutes talking about the offense, which I absolutely love. And thank you much. A Sean Robinson's on the pop. Hopefully he's going to be back from the meniscus injury that he suffered late last season. You have nacho, you brought back in. We know the biggest liability last season was the run defense. That's not solely on the defensive line. Linebacker was a real big reason for that but now with bobby o' caracabe

and the giant solidifying this run defense what do you expect from wink martindale we know he's going

to blitz we know he's going to pressure you know he's going to play man covered i think he's more

flexible of a defense coordinator than that i don't think he gets the credit that he deserves just from

going over the film but in terms of the run defense, and if the Giants do shore it up, how can that allow the Giants to have more success in 2023? They were easy to run on last year, which is crazy because I didn't think the personnel was that bad, but the linebacker does matter. So they have the linebacker now. Hopefully he sings healthy because I don't think there's much behind him.

We're going to see a nice open competition between who's going to be playing next to him,

between McFadden, Darren Beavers.

I think it's going to be one of those two.

It's not a combination.

The defensive backfield is what I think can really set apart the defense, right?

Part of the reason why teams have a lot of success running against the Giants last year

was that they didn't want to pass the ball that often.

They were a little fearful of the pass rush with Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams,

a growing Kvon Tibido, who got a lot better as the year went on.

And it's just much more, it's so much easier to move the ball if you know you can do it on the ground.

Now that the personnel is better along the defensive front, and don't overlook the kid they sign from Tampa Bay.
