As we get ready for the NFL season to kick off on Thursday, of course, the Jets and Giants talk is going to ramp up.

And there's not a lot of people outside of the positive side of the fan base for the Jets and the Giants that think that they're going to have a good year.

I know Jerry thinks that the Giants will be better.

I know Bumer thinks the Giants will be better.

If they come out of those first two division games without winning either one of them, it's going to be

another really long year. And that could be over by October again. And of course, after that,

it doesn't get easier really until week five. So if they start out, O and four, which on paper, they very well could,

then all of a sudden you get a break, but you still have to go to New Orleans.

Then after that, you got Philadelphia two out of three weeks and then a trip to Denver in between.

So if you want this season to feel like anything, anything different

than what it's been, you have to split with the commanders and the cowboys. Because after that,

things will just spiral, talk about Brian Dayball hot seat, when is Jackson Dark going to play.

So for the Giants to get off to a nice little start

quiet russell wilson's got to play great they got to score some points and they got to beat either

the commanders or the cowboys and we know how a house of horrors it's been for the giant's recent memory down

in dallas so that one seems to me less likely of the two well you and I've been talking about this for about the last two weeks.

They will be so much, well, prior to us leaving, they will be so much more competitive.

I believe their defense is going to be more competitive.

I believe their offensive line is going to be better.

And I certainly think that Russell Wilson is not going to be turning the ball over.

You know, and this is the bugaboo for a lot of these teams.

Like if they want to turn their season around, the Giants defense has got to force turnovers.
