I was going to hear with my co-hosts of football grump.

And the Giants fall to 2 and 9, 0-1 in the Mike Kafka era.

James gets a loss in his first game as the New York Giants quarterback. We obviously

saw some different things in this game, even some, you know, hashtag accountability for, you know,

Giants players who are, you know, part of the, part of the future. But Grump, at the end of the day,

a similar result, right? You know, a fourth quarter, this is the fourth time this year, the Giants had a fourth quarter lead, and they lost that game and gave up an L. So the talent was able to get it to the fourth quarter, and they just weren't able to hold it. We also kind of joked on our preview pod that, like, not even a joke, it was a legitimate analysis. Like, James Winston, he'll have some games where he throws throws three interceptions and some games where the defense drops five interceptions and you're like,

oh, wow, look at James had a good game. They dropped for the fifth one end of the game for the

Giants. We're going to break it all down. The offensive game playing under Mike Kafka on this one,

talk about some Mike Kafka decisions, but it just kind of felt like at the end of the game,

the Packers, Jimmy's and Joe's just won, right? Whether, you know, tough catches at the end,

and then the Giants just not being able to finish that drive off to tie and go for two,

which Mike Kafka said they would have went for two.

Yeah, and that would have been the right decision. So do you want to start with the Mike Kafka decisions for this game? No, we'll get to that. I want to talk about the offensive game plan overall. But like, you know, so we'll go there. But like first, like, what are you, what are your emotions after this game, right? We're recording this fairly soon after the game. It just kind of, they kept it

close, right, with their offensive game plan. So we'll talk about the pros and cons of the way.

They just ran so often and they relied on third and fourth down. You know, they got 20 points on

offense, which isn't bad against the Packers defense. That's one of the better defenses in the NFL.

But just at the end of the game, it was like, all right, the Packers are going to figure out a way to win. I don't know necessarily if they was out-coached. Or it's just like, all right, well, Xavier Williams, just Moss Cordell-Fa-Fa-Lot, and then Christian Watson Moss Corey Black. Right? and, you know, I was thinking in my head. Remember us talking about Corey Black on our draft recap and like,
