Today's guest is rookie right-hander Logan Webb.

We spoke the last week of the season kind of went over the year for him.

It was an up and down year. Obviously, the suspension was a huge deal. But he came back and showed flashes,

I think, of what has made him so exciting to the Giants for a long time. And they've always felt

has been kind of an undervalued prospect and somebody who doesn't get quite enough attention.

I think you look at what he did at such a young age and some of the starts he was able to

have and the stuff he showed, you know, the competitiveness that he showed.

And there's a lot to be excited about.

And certainly it bodes well for him that he finished the year in the rotation.

And they wanted to take a long look at him in September

and see how he handled it and I think he's going to have every opportunity next season to compete

for a job so you know we'll see that next spring we went over his season this year and then after

that I brought on Anthony Garcia of Triple's Alley the offseason is coming very quickly

a few games away now. We're in the World Series. So it'll be just about a week before we jump into

the offseason, obviously a huge one for the Giants, not just with the manager search, a new GM
