Hey, everybody, this podcast comes at the end of a very, very big week for the Giants.

Obviously, they played well on the field.

Only lost one game on this homestand.

They won in pretty dramatic fashion on Wednesday, and then they got Madison Baumgartner

back.

That was ironically the only game they lost during this homestand.

But big things happening on the field

johnny quato and jepard are going to throw bullpen sessions on friday so those guys are close and if

you're one of those people who looks at samarja's first month numbers and some of the things he did when

he got back and complaints about that don't it's somebody they need they need the innings they need him

he was good last year.

So I think if they can get him healthy and get Quato healthy and get them back,

I mean, this is a team that really should be there the whole year.

And they're playing good baseball right now.

It's going to be a very tough road trip starting in Washington.

But that really wasn't the only reason it was a big week. I think from a long-term standpoint, the bigger thing that happened was the draft,

and that was a three-day thing for the Giants.

And for Major League Baseball, it ended on Wednesday with about 30 rounds on Wednesday.

It's kind of crazy how they do all this.
