So as an ex-N-Fel player, going to remind people of that every now and again.

Yeah.

This was the time of year where all of a sudden everything goes out the window.

Like all the party in, all the traveling traveling all the stuff that you would do now

nowadays the game is really it's 365 they don't really take much time off maybe a couple

weeks after the season's over and they all get right back into the gym the amount of money that

they're making you know the the amount of pressure that each of these players are feeling.

But for those of us in my generation, you know, you'd work out through April and May,

you'd have a couple of mini camps and, you know, you wouldn't have that much stuff together

like you do now with OTAs and all that.

And plus, we did not have the facilities that they have now.

That's for sure. Like if I were in New York Jet and I lived around here, I used to go to Hofstra all the time because we actually had a nice facility at Hofstra. It was really nice. But compared to what they have over there at the Atlantic Health setup is ridiculous. So if I would live in Florin Park over there in Jersey somewhere,

and that would be my gym every day.

And I would love to do that.

But this is the time of year now, right after Fourth of July,

where all of a sudden it sinks in that you've got to go back to work.

And each day goes by faster and faster and faster,

and then all of a sudden your reporting day is here. and at one year we had to play in the uh the hall of fame game

we played against some rams i think in 88 and uh that was a long off season that was like a six weeks of two a days
