I'm joined by my co-ist Nick Vallado. Today, we are going to dive into a busy, busy day for the New York Giants franchise. We've got a new head coach. The Giants have landed in a new head coach. And this is what I thought would originally happen heading into Tuesday. It's just not the coach I expected. I thought they would hire a coach today. It's not the one I expected. So this day kicked off of breaking news that the Carolina

Panthers have hired Matt Rule, the supposed favorite target for the Giants, the guy who was coming to

New Jersey today to interview with the Giants after his vacation. He's rescheduled from Waco all the way

to New Jersey just to meet with the Giants. But vacation. He's rescheduled from Waco all the way to New Jersey just to meet

with the Giants. But that was squashed. And it seems like just minutes later, news dropped by the

Giants, really within an hour that Joe Judge was hired as the head coach in the New York Giants,

we were off to the races. It was an interesting day for me, Nick, because I was commuting into the city to work from the CBS Sports Office on 28th Street in Mad and Madison. And as I walked through the office, again, just minutes after the rule, higher into the Panthers, I expected to hit the ground running and have to, you know, edit a lot of work and get a lot of things turned around for the rule reaction. And somebody told me as I walked in the office, the Giants hired to a judge, I really did think it was a prank just because I didn't get the notification on my phone. And it was such an out-of-the-park left field hire, but it was reality. And before I dive into my takes and we're going to kind of trade back and forth with what we think about this hire and everything we've picked up along the way about Joe Judge that we can hopefully bring to you guys and keep you better informed on your newest head coach.
