Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Giants Insider podcast.

Today's guest is the new manager of the Giants.

He's not so new anymore.

Gabe Capler has been here for a while now.

He has certainly, I think, had plenty of time to make changes he wants to make in this

organization, and we saw that in spring training.

He would have been about two weeks into his first season with the Giants so far, and I think

that would have been the challenging part.

Spring training, it's optimistic, it's energetic, as we talked about in this podcast, and you have

a little bit more control, but once the game started it, you know, it would have been interesting

to see how this team would have played, because i know they were optimistic in spring training it would have been different

when they went to dodger stadium to start the year and face kershaw and bueller and then went to

arizona it would have been an interesting challenge for him um something we're not experiencing

right now obviously but i did talk to gabe about what he's able to do right now and what his

coaching staff is doing and how they're keeping in touch with players, some creative methods maybe

to try to grow during this time and, you know, give players something to do and give the coaching

staff something to do. I know there are a lot of projects that people within the organization

are working on, but obviously there's only so much you can do in April know there are a lot of projects that people within the organization are working on,
