Lindsay, how are you? I am great. It's been a fun day in the NFL. It has been a great day on the NFL internet. We normally don't get these days. This year, it feels like we haven't had many bits of news to kind of chew on for these Thursday shows. Let's just say that today, there is plenty to chew on. I am looking forward to it. I mean, it's one of the weirdest NFL days we've had in a really long time. And some of it has been bad news. I mean, there's a lot more COVID stuff going on. But there's been some really fun stuff too. And it's been a long time since we've gotten to have like a viral Twitter, lots of jokes day. And it's been great. So let's just get into it. So we're going to get to the games of the week. There are a lot of good ones. There are a ton of good matchups. The primetime games are so much better than they were last week. So I'm excited to talk about that. Before we do any of that, though, let's talk about how we all started our day. And that is with the news that the Giants fired offensive line coach Mark Colombo.

So, as there always are with these sort of things, there were differing reports that came out.

Originally, there was a report they'd gotten into a physical fight.

Now it feels like that's died down a little bit, and there was just a disagreement.

So the idea it seems

like was that the Joe judge was trying to bring in Dave Guiglamo to be a consultant or some

sort of other voice in the room for the offensive line. Mark Colombo, understandably, did not like that.

There was a bit of an argument and reportedly

he was fired. That's what's come out so far. So let's just talk about this on an actual football

level first. This is weird. I reached out to a couple offensive linemen that I know about how

strange that would be to have like a third voice in the room as just someone else teaching you

this stuff. I think for the most part,

it feels like we have avoided disaster with Joe Judge. And I think this summer, it felt like we

might be setting ourselves up for some of that. But this is undeniably strange. Everything about

wanting to bring this guy in just as a way to tweak your coaching staff at this point in

the season. Yeah. To me, it felt like a very

like Patriots way what sometimes assistants who come off of the Bill Belichick tree tend to do

when they, they want to bring in their own guys. You know, Mark Colombo has a pretty long history
