It's always my co-ist, Nick Vallado, from a different angle coming to you in this room due to some constructive reasons, as usual in this house.

But I am happy today, Nick, because we are breaking down the Giants defense on the All-22 film.

And boy, was it an exciting game?

I think I wrote at one point from rewatching the tape.

I just felt like almost every snap.

Justin Herbert was uncomfortable.

Almost every single snap.

And you mentioned it on yesterday's show and we'll go over it.

I'm sure in some of your breakdowns.

But even when he tried to boot out of the pocket and tried to reset the pocket, the Giants were so disciplined and cut off those angles. And just there were so many times I saw Herbert having to move backwards to make a throw. Like he couldn't step into the throw. He couldn't even have a square base to throw from. And that's what you got

to do against an elite quarterback like this. And I think the Giants obviously showed that in this game.

This was one of the best defensive performances I've seen from the Giants that wasn't perfect.

They gave up some of their plays as they have. But man, it was exciting to watch them just take

over a game from a pressure standpoint. And saw some front things too, a few wrinkles from Shane Bowen, a couple simulated pressures at the beginning that I thought were interesting, one third down that come to mind. So, you know, mostly just great play from this defense. And I'm excited to talk about it. Yeah, mostly great play from the defense. That's no shot on Shane Bowen. He he's going to do some he's going to do what he

usually does there was still a lot of man coverage and cover one on the back end right spying just

and herbert trying to contain just and herbert but what we saw a lot more of was the twists

of front yes jess and herbert is mobile but we're going to twist we are going to exchange our

gaps and we're going to confuse the hell out of this

protection package that has just backup after backup in there. And we're going to unleash

Abdul Carter. We're going to unleash Brian Burns and Kvon Tibido and Dexter Lawrence. And boy,

did they unleash all four of those players, especially Abdul Carter.
