I'm just Dan Schneier, unfortunately, and I don't, you know, I actually, it's a good thing that I'll have to wake up and relive this day again. But it does feel a lot like Groundhog's Day to me, Nick. And, you know, out of everything that was today, as disappointing as it was, I wanted to start

the show by just asking you as we wait for listeners to join us on the live, what was the most

surprising thing that happened in today's game in your mind?

That's a good question.

There's a lot that we could, um, there's unfortunately a lot that we can go with

there.

I want to, if I could make an addendum here and change the angle a little bit.

Okay.

Surprised and severely disappointed.

It is that the coaching still seems to be holding the New York Giants back.

But at the same time, Dan, we weren't like super surprising. We went into this with some

caution. One of the reasons why we took Washington in this game wasn't just because of

Andrew Thomas. It was because at least I felt like Washington was a much more well-coached and

prepared football team than the New York Giants.

And the Giants just have not proved to any degree that they're well-coached, basically

since 2022.

And I thought, you know what?

And let's wait and see it.

Let's see they actually come out and they are a different offense and that the defense can fit the run and that the defense can play zone coverage and not just have gaping voids between the zones in the intermediate and deep portions of the field.

And yet again, Cliff Kingsbury toyed with Shane Bowen. Yet again,

the Giants looked unprepared. And Washington, they were on discipline. Washington,
