Today we're going to dive into the all-22 game tape review of the Giants 37 to 18 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

After matching the Lions and Cardinals, yard for yard, first down for first down, and in time of possession, the wheels fell off against the Cowboys, who outgained the Giants 429 to 271 in yards.

In a game, the Giants curiously won the time of possession.

The score in the fourth quarter was a little closer than it probably should be.

The Cowboys missed a field goal and turned the ball over after converting a first down in the red zone. In addition to that, they also throughout this game turned the ball over inside their own 15-yard line. That was on the first possession. These are kind of the reasons the Giants had a chance to win time of possession and keep it close for a little while in a game where, to be honest, it was decided at the line of scrimmage and at the second level. The difference in play, and me and Nick talked about this before we got on, and we'll talk about it a little bit more, but of the Cowboys offensive line versus the Giants linebackers at the second level, and then vice versa, the Giants offensive line versus those two stud Cowboys linebackers at the second level, and then vice versa, the Giants offensive line versus those two stud

Cowboys linebackers at the second level was the reason why this game was not close.
