I'm Dan Schneier. Joins always my co-snick Palado. There's so much to talk about. So I just want to get right into it. There's a lot of Giants rumors and reports coming out of the combine. Let's start with the first one I think is the most intriguing and we'll probably have the most to say about. And that's this report that the giants are not not only heavily involved in the Fregent running back market, which we'll talk about a moment, but that they are very, very interested in pursuing and potentially signing Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker, who is the number one running back on the free gym market. Now, Brees Hall, you could argue, might be the number one running back on the market, but he's likely to be franchise tagged by the Jets. And then some people might say Travis E.TN could get, you know, could be in the mix with Walker as far as being the number one free agent running back. But most people think it's Kenneth Walker. And according to multiple reports, Connor Hughes and Jordan Ronna, I believe, the Giants are pursuing Kenneth

Walker on the free agent market. He will be an expensive running back. I believe likely given

how free agency works, Nick, he'll probably reset the market or come damn near close to resetting

the market in free agency, or at the very least, he'll get like the Sequin Barclay deal that he got,

which is a massive, massive deal for a running back.

So what are your thoughts on this?

My have times changed a little bit, right?

Like how Joe Shane's going to have to swallow some pride if he goes and gives the

Sequeam Barclay contract to Kenneth Walker two years later.

But it looks like the Giants are interested in that. Now, there's a lot of different angles we can look to approach this with, like Camp Scadaboo, how far along is he with this injury? You have Tyrone Tracy, who had a solid season. Behind them, you really do not have anything. And you have a offensive-minded coach who's going to come in and wants to run the football. I think it makes a lot of sense when you take all of those realities and you start to process them and you're just like, okay, I can see why the Giants want to add a true bell cow, maybe type of bell cow type of running back, true number one running back, I think would be the best way to phrase it, especially phrase it, especially with the camp scataboo injury.

That's a lot of money for Kenneth Walker, especially when there are other guys in the draft

that are, um, that I, that I think could come in and just compliment the room well, right?

If scataboo was 100% when training camp rolls along.

Because we're looking at what, like like 12 12 and a half a year for

kenneth walker probably at least yeah right three year deal something something along those lines

like what is the top of the market right now is it sayquan's contract which is i don't think

that's top of the market but let me just look at sayquan's contract because as you you know

obviously free agency you play in pay inflated prices and last year's contract is not worth the same as tomorrow's because his was a two, he just got a two year, 41 million extension. Yeah, so it's like 20. So it's like 20 a year maybe. So I think Walker probably be in that 15 to 18 range. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, I don't think it's going to be like 20. I don't think it would be market setting. I don't think he's getting more than Christian McCaffrey.
