Tonight we're coming to you right after the Giants second season game.

The comeback victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. That's fine. This has been now two wins for the Giants to preseason. Preseason, I know, it doesn't matter. On the same time, I think Baltimore Raven just won a record 22nd in a row preseason game. Not that again. It doesn't mean anything. Most of these players, especially in the second half, aren't going to be playing even a snap this season. Maybe a few snaps here or there for some of them. But the same time, it's good to see them win. It's good to see the depth paying off. And there are a lot of positive takeaways I have from this game that are kind of unrelated to them winning the football game. But nonetheless, I was happy to see them win. It's always just fun to see a win, even in these meaningless preseason games, whatever you want to make of them. So, Nick, I want to throw it over to you to start this bad boy off. We're kind of going to just go rapid fire, reeling off some of our feelings about what we learn and how it could project moving forward as we kind of turn the page. We're getting closer to this September 11th opener. Sorry, a little bit

1:12.0

tongue twister there, but getting closer to this, Nick. And so kind of trying to get a feel

1:16.9

for where we're going to be at. So I guess I'll start by saying this. What was your biggest takeaway

1:21.2

from this game? I think we could probably talk about Daniel Jones, right? But I think maybe we should start with these

1:29.8

injuries, Dan, just because it was scary, man. And you texted me literally right as the play

1:35.4

happened. I looked at my phone and I saw a text from Dan Schneier and I see Tibido laying on the

1:41.3

ground, holding his knee. And I'm like, oh my God, this is so freaking

1:45.6

unfortunate and it sucks. But Tibido, you know what, the wait and see exactly what happened,

1:51.7

but we know that he was joking on the sidelines. He walked off on his own accord. That's all well

1:55.8

and good. But Darian Beavers had a knee injury. Graham Ganoe had a concussion C.J. Bord, a rib injury on that hit where he fumbled.

2:04.1

DJ Davidson left the game.

2:05.7

So the Giants went into this game with a makeshift offensive line where they had to start

2:10.3

freaking Will Holden at center, not start, but play Will Holden at center, start Max Garcia

2:16.0

there, and now they have a bunch of injuries

2:18.6

at other areas of their roster. It's just something to monitor because the team is starting

2:22.9

to just be more and more injured, and that's concerning heading into week one.

2:28.0

There's definitely a key takeaway as we project moving forward, and I did text you right

2:31.8

after that. It was just, I was watching my pops. We went out for my brother's birthday, underrated restaurant, by the way, in West Orange, New Jersey, Prima Vara, really, really good Italian food. The rock shrimp, they're unbelievably good. And they had, during the summer, they have soft shell crab in there. They do it in a nice Italian way. It was fantastic stuff. And we got a chance to watch the game. And it was just like, it looked a lot worse than it actually, hopefully appears to be with the Tibido injury. But when you see someone reading and pain like that on the ground, clutching a body part, knee specifically, you're just like, damn, this is, is this really happening to us in the second preseason game?
