Tonight we are here to break down the Giants' defense on the all 22 coaches film from their week two preseason game against the Carolina Panthers.

We saw some interesting things, including the preseason debut of Leonard Williams.

Dexter Lawrence played in this game and made his usual plays.

Zizzo Jalarian, Kivin, Tibido played again.

Bobby O'Carrike made his preseason debut.

So that was really interesting to see as well.

The leader of this defense and he wore the green dot, which means he will be their quote-unquote quarterback of the defense, not Xavier McKinney with the green dot, getting the plays called into his headset, Nick. Where do you want to start? Do you want to start with any of the interesting things you saw from Wink Martindale, Giants, a defensive coordinator in this game? The big names I I mean in the front. Where do you want to go with this? I think Bobby O'Caricay just received the green dot for this game. That's contingency off of Xavier McKinney. So I wanted to clarify that, unless I miss something. No, I think that could be, that could likely be the case as well. I'm not sure. I don't I don't think O'Caricay is going to come off the field too frequently. We'll see maybe a little bit of quarter, but when you have a linebacker

who can move that way and who is that good against the run, which we're about to get into, you don't really want to take them off the football field. That's right where I want to start. the run defense with Bobby O'Caricay was so crisp and I get it.

Miles Sanders didn't play.

This is the Carolina Panthers rushing attack.

They're offensively. defense with Bobby O'Caricay was so crisp. And I get it. Mal Sanders in play. This is the Carolina

Panthers rushing attack. Their offensive line is a little subpar. I think it's safe to say. They

have a rookie quarterback. But watching Bobby O'Caricay scrape and flow to the football, along with

Michael McFadden, those two were always in position. And you have the big dogs up front. And that was the main primary thing that caught my eye. It was just, holy shit, 58 is flying around the football field and sticking the running back at or just beyond the line of scrimmage, was wildly impressed with his movement skills and his ability to position himself where he had to be. Yeah, I think that's a great place to start.

This was in our mind the biggest offseason acquisition outside of Darren Walder

and in some ways bigger because what we decided last year,

and we set it over and over after watching the date week after week after the season during

the playoff game is the biggest actual concern for the giants isn't
