Dexter Lawrence and the New York football giants have agreed on a new

new contract.

It's a four-year $90 million deal with $60 million guaranteed.

For the kids who are not good at math at home and listening.

That's $22.5 million per year.

And we'll get right into it.

My initial reaction is obviously I'm happy for Dexter Lawrence.

That is life changing money.

But holy cow, this is a pretty big steal for the New York Giants.

And look no further than the average annual salary. First of all, Dexter Lawrence is coming

off a career year where he was a all pro, second or first team, I don't really care, but he was an all pro player or first team I don't really care but he was an all pro player

a guy that we said multiple times is a reset the market guy somebody that's hey look at the top of

the list who's making the most money add a couple million to that that's where dexter lawrence

is going to come in he was a reset

the market guy but that's not what happened in fact dexter lawrence now comes in right around

where darron pain of the washington commanders who got paid before him got which is 22 and a half

million dollars um this is a steal because i think Dexter Lawrence A is better than Jeffrey Simmons, who's making 23 and a half, and he's better than Duran Payne, who's making 22 and a half. And then when you look right under him, $21 million is DeForest Buckner, and then Javon Hargrave got 21 million.

So the Giants I thought got an absolute steel came in about $10 million less than what I thought it was going to come in.

I thought the floor was $25 million just based on the guys that got paid before Dexter Lawrence.

And I started to get a little bit worried like this price
